Pemberton Caravans started manufacturing holiday caravans in the Pemberton district of Wigan in the north-west of England in the late 1940's. From the earliest days Pembertons were built to last and many 30-40 year old examples are still giving sterling service today.

Pemberton moved to their present day factory site at Woodhouse Lane in the Springfield district of Wigan in 1955. Major expansion took place in the 1970's and in 1980 the manufacturing operations were transferred to Pemberton Leisure Homes Limited.

The Pemberton name has always been at the forefront of advances in the design and development of the caravan holiday home concept. In the mid 1980's the company was one of the first to introduce 12ft wide models and to develop models specifically designed for wheelchair users and those with special needs, a sector in which the Pemberton Sovereign model remains the acknowledged benchmark. Pemberton were also among the first to offer a full range of models suited to extended seasonal use with the benefits of increased insulation, double glazing and central heating. In the 1990's Pemberton extended the boundaries of caravan holiday home design still further with the introduction of both 13ft and 14ft wide models represented in our latest models by the Glenluce/Glenmore and Park lane/ Knightsbridge ranges respectively.

With no less than twenty one models on offer Pemberton realise that it is not always possible for prospective owners to view every model at their nearest stockist and we therefore maintain a permanent display at our Wigan factory and have established additional regional showground displays which are detailed in this site.

Wheel Solutions Ltd was formed in January 1999 as a result of the merger of Greyco Ltd and R.H. Claydon (Wheel Division) Ltd.

R H. Claydon (Wheel Division) Ltd. was founded in 1953 and enjoyed a strong working relationship with the Agricultural and Grassland machinery manufacturing industry for over 40 years.

Greyco Ltd was established in 1995 and quickly became a reputable supplier to the Mobility and Park Home and Caravan Holiday Homes industry in both the UK and Europe.

In 2002 Steve Budding took 100% ownership and control of Wheel Solutions Ltd, centralising all of its activities by relocating both the Suffolk and Rugeley sites into a new custom built premises in Hednesford, Staffordshire.

Many benefits have resulted from this move including a wider product range and stronger purchasing power. This has enabled Wheel Solutions Ltd to become a highly competitive single source or "one-stop shop" for a vast range of wheels, tyres and associated accessories. In excess of 300,000 wheel assemblies were fitted in our warehousing facilities during 2002.
