Description Delightful residential park set in the village of Marham in Norfolk.
There is a Doctor's surgery, village store/Post Office within walking distance and for those residents not wishing to drive anymore, there is a useful bus stop right opposite the entrance of the park.
For the bowls players among you, the social and bowls club is just 500 yards from the park.
Just 8 miles away is Swaffham, an elegant town once the IN place for folk of the 18th century. The market place still has Georgian buildings and a domed rotunda. The Assembly rooms were the centre of society in these times.
The town legend is of the "Pedlar Of Swaffham" who went to London and was about to throw himself off London Bridge when a stranger dissuaded him and related a dream in which he saw buried treasure in a distant village. The pedlar recognised the place as his own garden so he went home and dug up two pots of gold. The pedlar is now the towns symbol.
Let's hope you find your pot of gold in Plumtree Park!!
Other facilities For 50+.
Directions Leave Kings Lynn on the A10 and turn onto the A134 to Thetford. At the garage turn left to Shouldham, and Marham is 4 miles down the road.
