The 2006 Fleetwood model range breaks entirely new ground by streamlining the model brand names and layouts. Colchester and Volante have been discarded and in their place a completely new brand name, Meridien, is introduced; the Heritage range will now embrace the two most successful single axle Volante models with Heritage now broadening its commercial base and customer appeal. Sonata continues with the four family layouts, which have been so successful in 2005.
All 2006 model year Fleetwood Caravans now carry a full five-year warranty. Year 1 will be covered by the standard manufacturers guarantee, with years 2, 3, 4, and 5 being administered through M B & G. All 2006 Fleetwood Caravans now carry a full five-year warranty on water ingress and floor delamination arising from the manufacturers original construction.
